HMRC have set up a helpline specifically to help the self-employed and businesses who might be struggling due to Coronavirus (Covid-19). You can contact this helpline at 0800 0159 559.
The Scottish Government have also set up a dedicated business support line and the contact number for this is 0300 303 0660 (Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm).

The UK Government has announced a new finance scheme providing loans for small businesses with a 100% government-backed guarantee for lenders. The Bounce Back Loans scheme will provide loans of up to £50,000. Full details available here.

A new ‘Scotland Cares’ campaign has been launched to encourage people to volunteer during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Those wanting to volunteer can sign up here.
Resilience groups have been established throughout Dumfries and Galloway to provide assistance to people who have limited support. To find your local resilience group please click here.
If you or anyone you know are a high risk for contracting Covid-19 and in need of support to provide a shield from social contact in order to protect the NHS and save lives then please register with Dumfries and Galloway Council's Shielding Team by clicking here or calling 01387 260600.
The Scottish Government have also launched a helpline for those at high risk of coronavirus who don't have existing support or internet access. If you're 70+, pregnant, a disabled person, receive the flu jab for medical reasons, or access mental health services, you can call 0800 111 4000 between 9am and 5pm.
